How I work
Write it. Shoot it. Cut it down.
I start with the story. Most of my ideas come from reading, games, and imagining scenes long before there's a camera anywhere near them. Once the idea holds up on paper, I figure out how to shoot it with whatever I actually have.
Editing is where it becomes real for me — trimming until only the moments that matter are left. I'm still learning, and that's the point: every project is a chance to get better at directing and writing.
